Responsibilities
• Work within the BI and Analytics program and perform data engineering, reporting, analytics, data management and data quality.
• Perform technical tasks as part of Data Migration, Data Integration and Data warehouse.
• Complete deliverables on time and to the required standards.
• Key tasks include development, configuration, code development, scripts and testing.

People
• Demonstrates teaming capabilities and team leadership quality.
• Participate & contribute in discussions with clients and third parties

Service
• Provides high quality outcome on deliverables to client.
• Contributes to organizational initiatives and help expand the business through repeat orders (through delivery performance)

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

Skills/ Competencies:
• Minimum 10+ years of total data analytics experience with strong 7-8 years of experience in Alteryx platform, with involvement in data preparation, data blending, and complex data sets using Alteryx
• Should be currently functioning as ETL Team Leader
• Proficient in SQL and ability to analyze data from multiple sources especially Social Media data (Facebook, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Structured databases, MS SQLServer, unstructured and semi-structured data like published media content & articles) as well as flat file base such as csv
• Responsible for designing, building, and testing several complex ETL workflows in Alteryx Integrate Alteryx with various other tools and applications as per business requirements.
• Apply best practices to organize Alteryx project: optimize workflows, modularization, re-usability, parameterization for SDLC Demonstrating advanced ETL skills using Alteryx or similar ETL tools Publish reports and small apps to business users via Alteryx gallery and server Incorporate workflows invocation from enterprise scheduler.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Experience integrating back-end (databases) with front-end (dashboards)
• Troubleshoot and recover workflows in case of errors Identify the functionality, strengths, and limitations of the tool Identify when the tool would be used to create a given output
• Ability to differentiate the functionality of similar tools.
• Experience of Data Quality checks & validation using Alteryx
• Excellent understanding of Rest API.
• Experienced in management and configuration of Alteryx Server, Gallery, and Designer.
• Support in Alteryx Server/Gallery installation upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of issues.
• Experience in end-to-end workflow design and deploying Alteryx workflows.
• Support the design and development of back-end data model, Data warehouse (DWH), Migration, Integration and other associated tools
• Familiar with most of the Databases such as MS SQL server and Oracle.
• Experience with implementation of data security standards within Alteryx
• Experienced in ingesting and processing data loads from systems on batch frequency of daily, weekly, monthly and in micro batches
• Experience with Real-time streaming data ingestion and event driven data in any standard format.
• Experience with web spidering and screen scraping
• Data transformation experience including:
- Data conditioning (to condition and standardize the data)
- Sorting, Joining multiple sources of data, merge, lookup
- Handling data exceptions
- Aggregation into summaries
- Disaggregation
- Translating coded values
- Encoding free-form values
- Generating new calculated values
- Generating surrogate key values (unique identifiers)
- Transposing / pivoting columns and rows
- Splitting a column into multiple columns e.g., with a csv list
- Selecting data or columns to load / not load
- Experience with Audit Balance and Reconciliation mechanisms using Alteryx

Desirable:

• Adheres to Data Migration/DWH best practices as well as project-set design principles and standards to maintain stable Migration environment.
• Performs analysis, configuration, programming, and write technical specifications in any given Migration and Integration related environment for both testing and implementation.
• Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor and assists other employees in accomplishment of the project.
• Support testing and evaluation of new releases of software and other tools for strategic tools.
• Assist in efforts on establishing corporate guidelines, standards, and best practices in the use/deployment of business intelligence solutions.
• Work with Software vendor to troubleshoot/resolve issues related to tools and the associated IT environments.
