Job Description:
In our continuous efforts on maintaining profitability by analyzing costs, performing cost accounting activities, including recipe costing and providing accurate financial reports we are on the lookout fora dynamic, experienced professional with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP,
particularly Dynamics 365 for Inventory & Cost Control. As the selected individual, you'll be instrumental in optimizing and digitalizing day to day Inventory and Cost Accounting activities, spearheading the implementation and customization of new methodologies to automating data management.

Essential Duties:
• Monitor and analyze all costs related to food, beverages, supplies, and other operational expenses.
• Identify areas of cost overruns or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular cost reports, including cost and inventory variance analysis and comparisons against budgeted targets.
• Provide accurate and timely financial data to management for informed decision-making.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to track and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate with kitchen and procurement teams to optimize stock rotation and minimize wastage.
• Monitor wastage levels to find the reason and reduce the same.
• Recommend and implement measures to reduce food and beverage costs, such as portion control and recipe standardization and SOP’s.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate unnecessary expenses.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in cost control.
• Monitor pricing and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive rates and quality products.
• Track actual financial performance against budgeted targets, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Provide input and financial insights into menu pricing decisions including menu Engineering and analysis.
• Work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Liaise with the procurement team to evaluate supplier contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
• Train and educate staff on cost control procedures and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum experience of 5 years in the same field
• Thorough knowledge of Cost Accounting procedures.
• In-depth understanding of Food & Beverage operations and Cost Controlling in F&B Industry
• Willingness to work in flexible schedules.
• Awareness of business trends.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with month-end/year-end closing process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

Education:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Hotel/Hospitality Management.
• Professional certification such as CMA/ICWA Preferred.
